Hiroshi Hamanishi
Hiroshi
Hamanishi
resides in Los Angeles where he has established his career as tap dancer,
choreographer, and instructor over the last decade. Hiroshi has toured
nationally and internationally with the production of Caution:
Men at Work, Tap.
He has had the pleasure of dancing with Alfred Desio, Rhapsody
in Taps,
Jazz Tap Ensemble, Dianne Walker, Arthur Duncan and Gregory Hines. Hiroshi
currently dances with Tap
Overload, Dance Spectrum, KIN Dance Company,
and recently worked with the James
Brown Band.
The LA Times wrote "Hiroshi
Hamanishi, high concept tap mode, with the foot quicker than the eye in an a
capella rhythmic tour de force."
An active teacher, Hiroshi is on faculty at the Colburn School, El Camino
College and Cal State LA.
