Logan Miller

               

Protégé of Robert L. Reed and member of the St. Louis Hoofers Club, Logan began to study dance at the age of four years old. At ten years old Logan was about to quit dancing when he started to take rhythm tap classes with Professor Robert L. Reed, protégé of Maceo Anderson, one of the original Four Step Brothers. Mr. Reed saw potential in Logan and took him under his wing. Only months later, Logan in his first live performance at the St. Louis Tap Festival.

Logan has taught and performed across the USA, Canada and Europe.  He most recently appeared in Dormeshia Sumbry Edwards A Shared Evening in NYC and Jason Samuels Smith’s ACGI. Logan has performed throughout the United States. He was a featured performer in the Duisburg Tap Festival at the age of 12, and was one of 3 St. Louis Hoofers to appear on the live CBS live competition Star Search, and danced in the movie Solo.   He was named by Dance Spirit Magazine as one of the 20 Top Tappers Under 20. He has served as Tap Choreographer of Hofstra's Dance Works Club and several numbers for the University, he founded Hofstra's new tap RythMix club. A recent graduate of Hofstra University, Logan can be found teaching and performing around New York.
